Popped to Sussex engines after work where the guy is making my cage, it's a pretty funky cage got the main hoop, two legs going down at back with a X in, rear strut brace, front legs, a bar across behind steering wheel/dashboard, bar along the bottom of the door sort of area with a diagonal bar and behind the seats I have a bar running half way up the main hoop and one running across the floor and over the tunnel, sounds alot but its nice and subtle I will try get some pictures tomorrow I am soooo excited
Also a straight bar across the roof, it's very structural atleast I know ill be nice and safe!

Looks good mate! How comes you didn't do it to the rear wheel arches?

He said its stronger where it is I think it looks good there plus I had to weld plates in on the arches so its not really ideal

Just looking through old pictures, this makes me laugh.. Bodged vs proper...

I'm taking a bucket seat to him tomorrow so we can get the door bars put in place where I won't hit my elbow all the time then it's ready to take back to the garage

Cage looks awesome mate!
Bet this is costing some fair wedge! My OMP cage was about £450 and my mate helped fit it for free so guessing this isnt cheap. Fair play tho, will look sexy when its done
